On Friday, 14 July 2023, in the evening at 20:59, in Kaunas, on Karaliaus Mindaugo pr. near No. 12, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved a BMW and a Toyota Avensis. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 24-year-old driver of the BMW, who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk, had no driving licence and fled the scene. At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
