On Friday, 28 July 2023, in the evening at around 17:00, in Klaipėda, on Molo street, at the junction with Audros street, a Toyota RAV4 hit a pedestrian at a pedestrian crossing. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by a 51-year-old driving instructor (29 years of driving experience), who failed to fulfil pedestrian duties. The driver was sober.
