On Monday, 7 August 2023, in the evening at 19:50, in Širvintų district municipality, on the Musninkai–Liukonėliai regional road (kilometre 14.15), a BMW X1 Xdrive 20D registered in Germany rolled over. One person was injured — the 23-year-old driver of the BMW (treated as an outpatient). The accident was caused by the 23-year-old driver of the BMW (less than a year of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. The driver was sober.
