On Wednesday, 27 September 2023, in the afternoon at around 14:00, in Panevėžys, on Parko street, at the junction with Nemuno street, a collision with a bicycle occurred. The collision involved a bicycle and a Citroen C5. Two people were injured — a 15-year-old cyclist (hospitalized) and a 15-year-old passenger of a bicycle (treated as an outpatient). The accident was caused by a 15-year-old cyclist, who committed other traffic rule violations. Both drivers were sober. At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry.
