On Monday, 15 July 2024, in the afternoon at around 13:00, in Panevėžys, on Nemuno street, at the junction with Parko street, a collision with a bicycle occurred. The collision involved a Skoda Fabia registered in Latvia and a bicycle. One person was injured — the 14-year-old driver of a bicycle (hospitalized). The accident was caused by the 43-year-old driver of the Skoda (7 years of driving experience), who failed to fulfil pedestrian duties. Both drivers were sober.
