On Friday, 29 December 2023, in the afternoon at 16:30, in Kaunas, on Panerių street near No. 162, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved an Opel Meriva and a Hyundai. One person was injured — the 44-year-old driver of the Hyundai (treated as an outpatient). The accident was caused by the 75-year-old driver of the Opel (41 years of driving experience), who failed to give way when changing direction. Both drivers were sober.
