On Tuesday, 9 January 2024, in the afternoon at around 15:00, in Plungės district municipality, on P. Genio street near No. 26, a Mazda 5 hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 40-year-old driver of the Mazda (21 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (2.23‰ blood alcohol).
