On Monday, 15 January 2024, in the afternoon at 16:55, in Panevėžio district municipality, Bedrių farmstead, on the Vilnius–Panevėžys (d. pusė) main road (kilometre 103.70), a Scania R500 ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 65-year-old driver of the Scania (45 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. The driver was sober.
