On Thursday, 15 February 2024, in the evening at around 20:00, in Kaunas, on Chemijos street, at the junction with Kovo 11-osios street, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a BMW 320 and a Skoda Fabia. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 25-year-old driver of the BMW (7 years of driving experience), who failed to give way when changing direction. Both drivers were sober. At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was lit, the weather was clear, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
