On Tuesday, 27 February 2024, at night at 0:26, in Vilnius, on Panevėžio street, at the junction with Lenkų street, a BMW 320D hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 22-year-old driver of the BMW (less than a year of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (1.11‰ blood alcohol). At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was lit, it was raining, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
