On Friday, 15 March 2024, at night at around 1:00, in Kaunas, on P. Plechavičiaus street near No. 17, a vehicle hit a pedestrian away from any crossing. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by a 51-year-old pedestrian, who was crossing the carriageway where prohibited. He was drunk (2.43‰ blood alcohol).
