On Wednesday, 10 April 2024, in the evening at 17:14, in Vilnius, on Ukmergės street, a collision with a motorcycle occurred. The collision involved a car and a Honda CBR 900. Two people were injured — the 26-year-old driver of the Honda (treated as an outpatient) and a 26-year-old passenger of the Honda (treated as an outpatient). The accident was caused by the 39-year-old driver of a car (12 years of driving experience), who committed other traffic rule violations. He was drunk (1.89‰ blood alcohol) and fled the scene. At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
