On Monday, 15 April 2024, in the evening at around 17:00, in Vilniaus district municipality, Kalino village, on Miško street near No. 8, a Porsche Cayenne hit a pedestrian away from any crossing. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 36-year-old driver of the Porsche (13 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. She fled the scene. The driver was sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
