On Monday, 20 May 2024, in the evening at around 20:00, in Raseinių district municipality, on Jaunimo street near No. 12, a Volkswagen Golf ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 56-year-old driver of the Volkswagen (16 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. She was drunk (1.95‰ blood alcohol) and fled the scene.
