On Saturday, 13 July 2024, in the morning at around 10:00, in Telšių district municipality, on Tryškių street near No. 4, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Volkswagen Golf and a Skoda Yeti. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 76-year-old driver of the Volkswagen (34 years of driving experience), who violated overtaking rules. He fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. At the time of the accident it was raining, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
