On Wednesday, 24 July 2024, in the afternoon at around 14:00, in Kaunas, on Tunelio street near No. 37, a Seat Alhambra hit a pedestrian away from any crossing. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 56-year-old driver of the Seat, who failed to fulfil pedestrian duties. He had no driving licence. All drivers were sober. At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 20 km/h.
