On Monday, 19 August 2024, in the evening at 20:15, in Šilalės district municipality, on J. Basanavičiaus street near No. 16, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Piaggio - and an Aprilia. One person was injured — the 15-year-old driver of the Piaggio (treated as an outpatient). The accident was caused by the 15-year-old driver of the Piaggio (1 year of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. Both drivers were sober.
