On Monday, 19 August 2024, in the evening at 21:32, in Šilalės district municipality, Katyčių village, on the Vilnius–Kaunas–Klaipėda (k. pusė) main road (kilometre 227), a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved an Iveco and a Scania R 480. No one was hurt in the accident.
