On Friday, 30 August 2024, in the morning at 5:11, in Biržų district municipality, on J. Biliūno street near No. 25, a Toyota Avensis registered in Norway ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 27-year-old driver of the Toyota, who failed to choose a safe speed. He had no driving licence and fled the scene.
