On Saturday, 28 September 2024, in the afternoon at around 16:00, in Kaunas, on K. Sprangausko street near No. 1A, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved a BMW Serie 5 and a Nissan Juke. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 29-year-old driver of the BMW (10 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. He fled the scene. Both drivers were sober.
