On Wednesday, 2 October 2024, in the afternoon at 13:19, in Radviliškio district municipality, on Šiaulių street, at the junction with Purienų street, a Renault Trafic hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 49-year-old driver of the Renault, who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (2.24‰ blood alcohol), had no driving licence and fled the scene. At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry.
