On Tuesday, 22 October 2024, in the afternoon at 15:05, in Šiauliai, on Vilniaus street near No. 312G, at a railway crossing, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Scania R 420LA and an Opel. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 65-year-old driver of the Scania (30 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. He fled the scene. Both drivers were sober.
