On Tuesday, 19 November 2024, in the evening at 17:55, in Vilnius, on S. Bataro street, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Volkswagen Polo and a MAN. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 20-year-old driver of the Volkswagen, who failed to give way when changing direction. He had no driving licence and fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was lit, the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
