On Sunday, 22 December 2024, in the afternoon at around 14:00, in Kretingos district municipality, on Žemaitės al. near No. 1, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved an Audi A3 and a BMW. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 44-year-old driver of the Audi (10 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. He was drunk. At the time of the accident it was raining, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
