On Saturday, 28 December 2024, in the morning at 6:20, in Kaunas, on Vytauto pr., at the junction with Karo Ligoninės street, a BMW K 1100 hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 15-year-old driver of the BMW, who failed to choose a safe speed. He had no driving licence and fled the scene. The driver was sober. At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was lit, it was raining, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
