On Thursday, 17 January 2013, in the afternoon at 15:30, in Kaunas, on žukausko street, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved an Audi 100 Avant and a Ford Transit FT 150. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 41-year-old driver of the Audi, who failed to give way when changing direction. He had no driving licence and fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was overcast, the road surface was wet.
