On Saturday, 4 January 2014, in the evening at 18:30, in Birštono municipality, on the Vilnius–Prienai–Marijampolė main road (kilometre 91.15), a collision while turning left (U-turning) occurred. The accident was caused by the 31-year-old driver of the Toyota (13 years of driving experience), who failed to give way when crossing an intersection. Both drivers were sober.
