On Wednesday, 26 February 2014, in the afternoon at 16:30, in Kaunas, on Kovo 11-osios street, at the junction with Partizanų street, a side collision with neither vehicle turning occurred. The collision involved a BMW 530 and a Skoda 14 TR. One person was injured — a 72-year-old passenger of the Skoda (treated as an outpatient). The accident was caused by the 23-year-old driver of the BMW (5 years of driving experience), who failed to give way when crossing an intersection. Both drivers were sober.
