On Saturday, 28 October 2017, at night at 1:07, in Kaunas, on Partizanų street, at the junction with Kovo 11-osios street, a side collision with neither vehicle turning occurred. The collision involved a Fiat, an Audi A3 WAHLW. Audi S3, an Audi A4 Avant, an Opel and a Ford Galaxy. Two people were injured — the 53-year-old driver of the Opel (treated as an outpatient) and a 21-year-old passenger of the Opel (treated as an outpatient). The accident was caused by the 30-year-old driver of the Fiat, who failed to give way when crossing an intersection. He was drunk (1.23‰ blood alcohol) and had no driving licence. At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was lit, it was overcast, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
