On Thursday, 22 May 2014, in the morning at 7:30, in Kaunas, on Tunelio street near No. 26, at a gas station, a BMW 530 D hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 24-year-old driver of the BMW (4 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. The driver was sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry.
