On Friday, 13 June 2014, in the afternoon at 15:43, in Šiaulių district municipality, on the Panevėžys–Šiauliai main road (kilometre 75), a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved an Opel Sintra and an Opel Vectra. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 33-year-old driver of the Opel Sintra (6 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. He was drunk (1.56‰ blood alcohol).
