On Monday, 25 August 2014, in the evening at 20:50, in Kaunas, on Nuokalnės street, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a BMW 530 D and a Kawasaki ZR-7. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 26-year-old driver of the BMW (8 years of driving experience), who committed other traffic rule violations. Both drivers were sober. The 18-year-old driver of the Kawasaki had no driving licence. At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
