On Sunday, 28 September 2014, in the morning at 5:54, in Kaunas, on Veiverių street near No. 134, a Hyundai Sonata hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 18-year-old driver of the Hyundai (less than a year of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (1.75‰ blood alcohol), had no driving licence and fled the scene. At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was lit, it was overcast, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
