On Monday, 6 October 2014, in the evening at 17:10, in Kauno city municipality, on the Vilnius–Kaunas–Klaipėda (d. pusė) main road (kilometre 99.70), a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The accident was caused by the 46-year-old driver of the MAN (16 years of driving experience), who failed to give way when changing direction. Both drivers were sober.
