On Tuesday, 21 October 2014, in the evening at 18:30, in Vilnius, on Švitrigailos street near No. 23, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved an Opel Zafira and an Audi A4. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 36-year-old driver of the Opel (13 years of driving experience), who committed other traffic rule violations, failed to keep a safe distance and failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (1.69‰ blood alcohol). At the time of the accident it was twilight, it was overcast, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
