On Monday, 15 December 2014, at night at 1:07, in Trakų district municipality, on the Vilnius–Prienai–Marijampolė main road (kilometre 20.85), a Peugeot 306 rolled over. Three people were injured — the 20-year-old driver of the Peugeot (hospitalized, was not wearing a seatbelt), a 23-year-old passenger of the Peugeot (treated as an outpatient, was not wearing a seatbelt) and a 48-year-old passenger of the Peugeot (treated as an outpatient, was not wearing a seatbelt). The accident was caused by the 20-year-old driver of the Peugeot, who failed to choose a safe speed. He had no driving licence. The driver was sober. At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was unlit, it was overcast, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 90 km/h.
