On Thursday, 15 January 2015, at night at 23:05, in Trakų district municipality, on the Vilnius–Prienai–Marijampolė main road (kilometre 57.20), a Volkswagen Passat rolled over. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 37-year-old driver of the Volkswagen (18 years of driving experience), who committed other traffic rule violations and failed to choose a safe speed. He fled the scene. The driver was sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA).
