On Thursday, 5 February 2015, in the evening at around 21:00, in Šilutės district municipality, Sakūtėlių village, on the Kaunas–Jurbarkas–Šilutė–Klaipėda national road (kilometre 203.75), a collision while turning left (U-turning) occurred. The collision involved a BMW 530 D, a DAF XF 95.430 and a GS. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 26-year-old driver of the BMW (5 years of driving experience), who failed to give way when crossing an intersection. Both drivers were sober.
