On Friday, 27 February 2015, in the evening at around 20:00, in Kaunas, on Šarkuvos street near No. 11, a collision with a reversing vehicle occurred. The collision involved a BMW 520I and an Audi A6 Avant. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 29-year-old driver of the BMW (7 years of driving experience), who committed other traffic rule violations. He was drunk (1.75‰ blood alcohol). At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was lit, it was raining, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
