On Saturday, 28 February 2015, in the afternoon at around 12:00, in Kaunas, on Savanorių pr., at the junction with Mituvos street, a collision while turning left (U-turning) occurred. The collision involved an Audi 80 and a Renault Megane. One person was injured — a 20-year-old passenger of the Renault (treated as an outpatient). The accident was caused by the 18-year-old driver of the Audi (less than a year of driving experience), who failed to obey traffic-control signals. Both drivers were sober.
