On Sunday, 15 March 2015, in the evening at 20:50, in Kaunas, on Europos pr. near No. 85, a collision while turning left (U-turning) occurred. Two people were injured — the 19-year-old driver of the BMW (treated as an outpatient) and a 18-year-old passenger of the BMW (treated as an outpatient). The accident was caused by the 58-year-old driver of the Mercedes-Benz (30 years of driving experience), who failed to give way when changing direction. Both drivers were sober.
