On Saturday, 21 March 2015, in the evening at 19:42, in Kaunas, on K. Baršausko street near No. 89, a Ford Galaxy hit a pedestrian at a pedestrian crossing. Two people were injured — a 25-year-old pedestrian (treated as an outpatient) and a 79-year-old pedestrian (treated as an outpatient). The accident was caused by the 39-year-old driver of the Ford (22 years of driving experience), who failed to fulfil pedestrian duties. The driver was sober.
