On Monday, 13 April 2015, in the afternoon at 13:30, in Šilutės district municipality, on M. Jankaus street near No. 12, at a yard or parking-lot exit, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved a Peugeot 607 and a BMW 120D. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 18-year-old driver of the Peugeot (less than a year of driving experience), who committed other traffic rule violations. He fled the scene. Both drivers were sober.
