On Monday, 25 May 2015, in the afternoon at 15:50, in Kauno city municipality, on the Kaunas–Marijampolė–Suvalkai (kelio ruožo su skir. juosta d. pusė) main road (kilometre 2.95), a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Seat Cordoba, a DAF FT 95XF.380 and a Wilcox. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 52-year-old driver of the Seat (32 years of driving experience), who committed other traffic rule violations and failed to give way when changing direction. He fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 90 km/h.
