On Tuesday, 21 July 2015, in the evening at around 18:00, in Kaunas, on Kovo 11-osios street, at the junction with Taikos pr., an Audi 80 hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 64-year-old driver of the Audi (40 years of driving experience), who failed to give way when crossing an intersection. Both drivers were sober. At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
