On Saturday, 30 December 2017, in the afternoon at 13:30, in Kaunas, on Taikos pr., at the junction with Kovo 11-osios street, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Solaris Trollino 12, an Opel Astra and an Audi A4 Avant. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 55-year-old driver of the Solaris (36 years of driving experience), who failed to give way when changing direction. All drivers were sober. At the time of the accident it was overcast, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
