On Monday, 31 August 2015, in the morning at 9:30, in Kaunas, on Šauklių street, a side collision with neither vehicle turning occurred. The collision involved a VAZ 21063 and an Opel Astra-G-Caravan. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 82-year-old driver of the VAZ (61 years of driving experience), who failed to give way when changing direction. He fled the scene. Both drivers were sober.
