On Wednesday, 30 September 2015, in the evening at 19:10, in Klaipėdos district municipality, on the Kaunas–Jurbarkas–Šilutė–Klaipėda national road (kilometre 210), a head-on collision occurred. The accident was caused by the 34-year-old driver of the BMW (16 years of driving experience), who violated overtaking rules and entered the oncoming traffic lane. All drivers were sober.
