On Tuesday, 27 October 2015, in the afternoon at 12:20, in Kaišiadorių district municipality, on the Vilnius–Kaunas–Klaipėda (k. pusė) main road (kilometre 61.70), a BMW 530D Xdrive hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 33-year-old driver of the BMW (11 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. The driver was sober.
