On Saturday, 31 October 2015, in the evening at 22:40, in Molėtų district municipality, on the Vilnius–Utena main road (kilometre 64.42), a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Saab 9-3 and a BMW 320. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 50-year-old driver of the Saab (20 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. He fled the scene. Both drivers were sober.
